PRODUCT OPERATIONS, UX/UI/UXR - JOOR, INC - 2024
I was the Design Director at JOOR, Inc., a wholesale platform for fashion brands and retailers. I became responsible for an initiative without a project manager, so I took on the role. We had a lot of outdated code on jooraccess.com that needed to be migrated. Updating the code also allowed us to clean up the UX; one of the critical changes was an update to the global navigation. The navigation redesign was easy, but the process to get that nav to our users was not.
JAY Z DECODED - Droga5 - 2010
I was the UX/UI Designer on this groundbreaking campaign; my job was to design the conceptual model, game logic, and user experience for bing.com/jay-z. Each day, several pages of the book were released (320 pages and the campaign was four weeks long) into the world. To show off Bing’s capabilities, their Maps and Search products were used as the game’s platform. Droga5’s copywriters wrote two clues for each page; then, the clues were shared via Twitter. The answers to these clues were always geographic; inputting your answers into the custom ‘Decoded’ Bing map would get you closer to the location of a page. Once you locate a page, a beacon will appear, marking the page’s location and whether or not you were the first to find it.
New York Magazine, Mashable, Creativity, and many other trade magazines covered the campaign.

operations consultant - verizon wireless - 2015
Verizon Wireless hired me to solve an interesting problem: “How do we transform our internal production team into an in-house agency?” They had a talented team of visual designers, UX & UI designers, copywriters, and project managers. They also had a record of outperforming the company’s agencies of record. There was a strong argument they were cheaper, faster, and better than the competition, but they weren’t yet operationally organized to start competing in earnest. They needed help creating a foundation, transitioning, and repositioning themselves while managing and executing their current workload.
